Removals in Oakworth

Oakworth is a Worth Valley village between Ingrow and Haworth, strung along roads that climb and dip rather than a single flat high street. From Parkwood Street it is a proper run up the valley, not a hop across town. Houses are stone cottages, terraces and a smaller number of newer homes tucked off the main road. Many front doors sit above a short flight of steps, and some lanes are only wide enough for one vehicle. Oakworth station on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway brings visitors on operating days, which changes where a van can pause near the centre of the village. Oakworth Primary School is on the Station Road and Colne Road side of the village, so term-time mornings are a poor time to assume the road is empty. Holden Park is the local green space people walk to. A large wardrobe in an older cottage may have been built in, or carried in before a porch was added. We ask for photos of the lane, the steps and the stair. Postcodes are BD22. Bradford Council handles council tax and bins. Insurance is provided. Ask us what is covered when you book. If the lane cannot hold a van for long, we agree a shuttle from a wider point. Call 01535321350 if access looks tighter than you first thought. Early starts can be planned before the school run.
