Removals in Cross Hills
Cross Hills is the South Craven town just beyond the Bradford boundary, on the A629 between Steeton and Glusburn. From Parkwood Street it is a valley run past the hospital and the station, then over into North Yorkshire. People still shop and work in Keighley, but the council is North Yorkshire Council, not Bradford. That matters for council tax, bins and schools. Housing is stone terraces around Main Street and newer estates off the main road. Main Street is busy, with short gaps for a van and a library car park that is not a loading bay. South Craven School is on the edge of the town and draws pupils from Silsden and the villages, so the roads around Holme Lane fill at the start and end of the school day. The South Craven community library is on Main Street, opposite everyday shops, with a small car park of its own. There is no railway station in Cross Hills. The nearest is Steeton and Silsden, back down the A629. Postcodes are BD20. Tell us if the house is on Main Street or on an estate with a turning head. Insurance is provided. Ask us what is covered when you book. Call 01535321350 if you are moving on a school day and the obvious stopping place is outside the school traffic. Early starts can be planned.
