Haworth removals

Haworth is the Worth Valley village most people know for the cobbled Main Street, the Bronte Parsonage and a steep walk from the valley up to the church. From Parkwood Street it is a longer run up the A629 and into the village, not a local hop. Houses on and just off Main Street are stone cottages and terraces with steps, narrow entries and very little space for a van. Homes further out, toward Cross Roads, Lees and the station, are easier to reach but still sit on hills. Visitor traffic is the access problem. A summer Saturday, a railway operating day or an event on Main Street can fill every gap a removal van might have used. Haworth Primary School is on Rawdon Road, so term-time adds a second busy period. Central Park is the village park below the steepest part of the street. We need to know whether the door is on the cobbles, on a side lane, or on a road a van can actually reach. Postcodes are BD22. Bradford Council handles council tax and bins. Insurance is provided. Ask us what is covered when you book. If the only stopping place is a carry from a side street, that is fine if we have planned it. Call 01535321350 before you assume we can stop on Main Street. Early starts can be planned before visitors arrive.

Cobbles, steps and a planned carry

Haworth house moves need the detail on house removals. Kitchens full of crockery are easier if packing is booked before the van day.

Moving in Haworth: common questions

Can you stop a van on Haworth Main Street?

Often not for long, and sometimes not at all. Tell us the exact door. A carry from a side street is normal and needs to be in the quote.

Do you move cottages with tight stairs?

Yes, when the furniture will go. Photos of the stair and the outside steps save a wasted trip.

Is Haworth BD22?

Yes. Send the full BD22 postcode. Streets toward Cross Roads can look closer to Keighley on a map than they feel in a van.
