Finding dessert shops in Keighley

Sweet shops change their counters often. Use the shop in front of you, not a ranking from an old article.

Cake on a plate in a cafe

No league table

We are not naming three dessert shops as the best in Keighley. We have not surveyed them, and a ranking would go stale. If you want cake, look in Keighley Town Centre or up in Haworth, then read the board in the shop.

What to look at in the shop

  • Allergens, written by the business, especially if you need nut-free or gluten-free.
  • Whether they serve in or only take away. A steep street is a poor place to juggle boxes and a tray.
  • The closing time. Visitor days in Haworth and quiet Mondays in town are not the same pattern.

Cobbles and Clay on Haworth Main Street publishes a cafe menu on its own website, including cakes, if you are already in the village. That is one confirmed cafe, not a prize.
